2016 has been quite fulfilling in terms of Bollywood movies. We have seen some amazing, entertaining movies like Udta Punjab, Neerja, Kapoor & Sons, Airlift and Sarbjit. If the first half has been so good, how good is the second half going to be? Here are the Top 10 Bollywood movies to look forward to in the second half of 2016.

1. Raman Raghav 2.0- June

Raman Ragahv 2.0 is based on notorious and psychopathic serial killer, Raman Raghav who operated in the city of Mumbai, India in the mid-1960s. Anurag Kashyap and Nawazuddin Siddiqui together is one deadly combo.

2. Sultan- July

Undoubtedly one of the most awaited movies of 2016, Sultan is a classic underdog tale about a wrestler who makes a comeback defeating all odds stacked up against him. The trailer promises that the movie will have all the right elements to be a super-hit- a mint fresh romance, an inspiring tale and unique wrestling action. Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma will be seen as wrestlers in this Ali Abbas Zafar movie.

3. Mohenjo Daro- August

‘Mohenjo Daro’ is set in the ancient city of Mohenjo-daro of the era of the Indus Valley Civilization that dating back to 2600 BC. Hrithik Roshan and debutante Pooja Hegde will be seen in the lead roles. Slated for release on 12 Aug 2016, the movie also stars Pooja Hegde, Kabir Bedi and Arunoday Singh.

4. Rustom- August

Rustom is a thrilling murder mystery with a strong romantic plot. Set in the late 1950s, the movie is inspired from famous Nanavati murder case. This is Akshay Kumar’s third collaboration with Neeraj Pandey after Special 26 and Baby. Directed by debutant Tinu Desai, Rustom will feature Illeana D’Cruz as Akshay Kumar’s love interest while Esha Gupta will be seen playing a role with grey shade in the movie. It’s also confirmed that we are going to see Rustom Vs Mohenjo Daro On 12 August 2016.

5.M.S. Dhoni- The Untold Story- September

The man who took Indian Cricket to new heights, created new records has a lot to tell us about his journey. That’s what Neeraj Pandey’s biopic on M.S. Dhoni is here for. The teaser of M.S. Dhoni- The Untold Story tells about the Dhoni before he became a god of Indian Cricket. Sushant Singh Rajput looks perfect in Dhoni’s shoes!

6. Shivaay- October

Ajay Devgn gets into the seat of the director for his ambitious project titled as Shivaay. Shivaay is centered around the imperfections of Lord Shiva and how it makes him strong. The movie will introduce Dilip Kumar’s grand-niece Sayesha Saigal and popular British child actor Abigail Eames will be seen in the role of Ajay’s daughter.

7. Mirzya- October

Directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and written by Gulzar, Mirzya features two debutantes Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher. The plotline is inspired by the folk tale of “the legend of Mirza – Sahiban” making Mirzya is an epic action-romance set in contemporary times. Shot in the rch terrain of Rajasthan, contrasted with flashes of the fantastical universe of the folklore set in the awe-inspiring landscape of Ladakh and Rajasthan, Mirzya Teaser Trailer gave us a short yet extraordinary glimpse of the movie.

8. Rock On 2- November

Directed by Shujaat Saudagar, Rock On 2 stars Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Prachi Desai, Purab Kohli who were also in the prequel. Other than that we will get to see Prachi Desai and Shraddha Kapoor too. Interestingly Shraddha will also sing all the songs in the movie!

9. Dangal- December

Dangal is based on the life of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat played by Aamir Khan, who taught wrestling to his daughters Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat. Aamir Khan’s amazing transformation for the movie is one of the reasons to go and watch the movie. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal is scheduled to release on 16 December 2016.

10. Befikre- December

Aditya Chopra is back into direction with Befikre, starring Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor in the lead roles. The poster of the movie released so far are very interesting and in all of them we seen Ranveer and Vaani kissing each other in the most carefree manner. We sure are excited about this one!
